Around covid time five strangers sign up for a medical trial to try and find a long lasting cure for the world wide illness. Each of them goes in thinking they are going to benefit society, but they all come out if the experiment in a worse place than when they came in. Alone and confused the five strangers must find a way to control and live with their new found abilities while a wave of blackouts plague the city. The five must find each other and find a way fix the mess that started with them.
