He escapes to the world of video games, making a living as an anonymous beta tester at fifteen. He doesn't even eat. Not that his mother notices. but one day, one fateful, wonderful day, he meets Infinite_killz2007, aka Dorian, over an online game of TF2. the two become friends, and Cheshire actually starts to regain his old faith in humanity. 

when he buys the Neuralink, his view on video games changes. suddenly he can talk to people without a headset, and run free through the hills. does fresh air count if it's made of code?

He and Dorian like to hang out at Havyn, one of the online worlds the Neuralink is connected to. but one day, Dorian discovers a corrupted, A sprite that got taken over by the ghost in the machine. This throws a wrench in some plans. This, along with a few unexpected complications, messes with cheshires life in both good and bad ways.
