so we made past the 76th hunger games... correct?
well, not all of us. in fact, if we just boil it down to the tributes fighting in the games themselves...
NONE of them survived the tragic games.
that's right! for the 76th hunger games, to the disappointment of the capital, no one was able to triumph over the rest and take home panem's sacred title of Victor that comes with many riches, fame and glory. sydney kantern, the 12 year old from district 13, stunned everyone for a second when he took down dominic, the 14 year old from district 9, with his deceiving childlike antics and his sneaky swipe and stab with a knife to his back. but the cruelty of the games were too much for the developing mind of the 12 year old, and to sydney, the only way to peacefully escape the horrors with which he'd have to live with for the rest of his life was to take his own life away with a clean stab to the heart.
but let's back out for a moment and think to ourselves: what if?
what if sydney hadn't killed himself?
what if sydney hadn't won the games *temporarily* in the first place?
what if we could recreate some of the drastic scenes leading up to the grand finale?
what if we could go back in time and view the 76th hunger games alongside our fellow eccentrict capitol members?
what if the interviews, the training sessions, the bloodbath had turned out differently?
what if the final moments with the mentors for each tribute had been altered?
i could go on and on... but you get the gist. in this book, we'll look at the 76th hunger games and its context surrounding it with a more creative lens as i (and the rest of you all who participated in that roleplay) come up with exciting stories that will ease any concerns, doubts, or overwhelming curiosities had after the games.
