Greysi wanted to free the boy who she had found chained in the basement so long ago; the boy who had it far worse than her. She wanted to keep the promise she had made him as a child and free him. Free both of them. But now she didn't know if she would get the chance to see him again let alone save him.

Taken to a world that should have only existed in the books she read as a child, she manages to escape her captors only to find herself in the hands of another. One who only managed to make her situation worse.

Hunted for unknown reasons by a King she doesn't know, she has to hide who she is, and what she is, while placing her trust in a man who seems to hate her for something she had no choice in. He was her only option to get back home and it was vital that she did. Or else the King and what he wanted from her may just become the least of her worries.
