Aisha Allien is still trying to figure out if she made the right decision when she dropped out of medical school and didn't fulfill the dream her father had for her. Employed in a cinema in Antwerp and loving her grandparents equally, Aisha doesn't think so often about what she left behind in Bristol. Until her grandparents' divorce makes her rethink the situation and stop indulging in the comfortable situation she has become accustomed to.

Vincent Barker was recently released from prison. All he wants is to save what he has left and maybe a few people.

Vincent's roads don't lead to Aisha, and Aisha certainly doesn't want to meet a man with such a spotty record. While Aisha needs quiet, Vincent needs noise - two people who don't want the same thing, but not everything has to happen for a reason, just because the stars aligned.
