Jerome and Jeremiah weren't just twins no they were quadruplets you see Lila's real name was Monica married to Frank Gallagher, Monica is Bipolar so when she was giving birth and Frank wasn't there she decided she would take two and Frank would take two because that's only fair (spur of the moment decision is what I mean). She took the two eldest boys and left a boy and girl for Frank. She named the boys Jerome, Jeremiah, and Ian and named the girl Erin. When Frank showed up at the hospital, hungover of course, the nurses said that Monica had signed over two babies to him, Ian and Erin and left early that day. Frank just brushed it off since it wasn't weird for Monica to disappear after having a kid since she would probably be stressed and wanted to feel the freedom of not being pregnant. Monica joined a Circus with her two boys and meet a blind man who agreed to be the boys father but that didn't last long. Ian and Erin were mostly inseparable and always protected each other. Erin showed some signs of mental illness early on but her siblings always support her for the way she was as long as she didn't kill anyone.
