When Lux is forced to go on a two-week cruise with her family for vacation, she expected to spend all of her time indulging in fictional worlds instead of constantly thinking about which unrealistic sea creature is planning on making the boat and everyone on board their next meal. 
    However, when Lux meets Colt, and Colt decides to throw her book into the ocean to feed the unrealistic sea creature, a friendship between the pair quickly blossoms. 
    From stealing a bottle of tequila from the bar on the cruise, to a little game of Twenty Questions, weird feelings begin to make themselves known, and suddenly Lux's outlook on this cruise has changed drastically. 
    Lux and Colt have two weeks together before they leave the cruise and go back to their homes - with one of them living in California and the other living in New York, but that seems to be the last thing that either of them are thinking about. So, what happens when reality hits both of them?
