Heavily based and inspired by my multiple gameplays of Sid Meier's Civilization V

War never changes. It is the only constant event in the world of Meier. It is inevitable. Tensions can only grow so far, after all.

War destroys. It kills. It wrecks. It divides. It solves nothing.

But amidst the chaos, various characters from historical civilizations have lived to tell the tale. To save a friend; to mourn one; to show no mercy for an enemy; and to look at how war truly is:

A soldier's nightmare and a politician's game.

For the last two hundred years there has been a festival that would take place on unregulated territories. The King himself always attends. This Isnt a normal every day kind of festival. This festival is a nightmare for weaker wolves. For females. This is a fighting festival where wolves come on their own or are brought in by force. There are fights to the death, the winner, if they belong to someone, can be sold or mated off. Females dread this. Many females brought here are sold off to breeders for warriors. Most fighters who come here, come from packs that are strong. They train for this sort of thing. That's why wolves that are brought in fight to the death, and rogues dread the fights. Because most of them never make it back home. Refusing to back down in honor of the moon goddess. Paisley May Calista is a sweet young woman. At the age of eighteen she remained a virgin and mateless, her wolf was small but strong. She was taken in by a pack Alpha when her family was murdered. She was only seven when it happened. Ever since sweet little Paisley got here, she's been trained to fight. Yet she still has trouble with the Art of it. It isn't what she wants to do. What will happen when she is forced into the festival? Will her wolf stand a chance or will her fate end there? Keep reading to find out!!
