Twelve years after Aionios separated memories have returned for a select few who were there at the bitter end. Communication between Alrest and Alcamoth reestablished. After years of dreaming of their reunion, Eunie takes the first steps to see Taion. Noah and Lanz follow her lead.
When they meet up in Alrest: Noah wrestles with a secret he has kept from Mio, Lanz grows closer to Mio's sister, Glimmer while coming to terms with who Sena is, and Eunie gets used to the idea of being with Taion.
Their reunion is cut short when the fallout Alrest's past catches up to them and an enemy thought to be dead reappears. To make things right they'll travel the remains of the Mechonis, face unknown foes, and help each other come to terms with their feelings.
