For when the Ghosts of Maccrage, a hushed away successor chapter of the Ultramarines finds a new planet at the center of a Warp anomaly they also find the key to not just their mysterious past but to a brighter future. Its up to Chapter Master Mara and her rediscovered gene mother Adora to save the galaxy from not just the horrors beyond the stars but the conflicting ideologies within the Imperium itself.

The year is M42. Roboute Guilliman's Indomitus crusade is in full force. Deep with in Segmentum Pacificus a tide of green flesh painted in deathskulls' blue are stirring, preparing to strike at the fifth most important drydock within the galactic sector. A system the Imperium of Man cannot lose, for the price of a system like this falling into xenos hands are better left to the imagination. Every man, woman and child will fight and work in order to stave of this invasion. While a small group of the Deathwatch Astartes has been sent to aid them. The Orks are not as dim as they seem though, so the fighting will be brutal and the collateral damage high but one thing stands above all. Gruefall cannot fall. Also it is my first ever writing project so be kind :).

It has been 40-some years since Captain Nick Reyes and his crew attacked Mars in an attempt to destroy Salen Kotch's reign with the SDF. Now, a new threat of SDF forces has risen, and although Earth has been restored since the attacks, the planet is still in grave danger. A young woman by the name of Terra Sloane escapes Earth after the SDF's deadly attack, heading to Mars. There, the supposed Captain Reyes is still alive, through which a secret no one knows. Though he is supposed to be in a coma-like state, Terra runs into him in the wastelands of Mars after crash-landing. Convincing him to return with her, Terra begins a journey to defeat the high power of the SDF: Colis. His plans to destroy the solar system with the new SDF are more powerful than ever before and it won't be long before the entire solar system is obliterated. With this unexpected journey Terra begins, she learns the truth to more secrets than she thinks possible. With those come betrayal, loss and even a bit of unintentional love. ~~~ This is a work of FAN-fiction, therefore I don't own everything in this story. Terra, the rebels, some ships, Colis and other minor characters are from my mind. There are also some locations, unless specified, that belong to me.
