Things don't go quite as planned, when Emma is forced to attend Coldwater Private School for the Gifted and Talented, instead of her hometown high school.
At first it seems like your average private school for snobby rich kids, but she quickly realizes there is much more going on behind the scenes. As Emma becomes involved in the school she is thrown into a cold case, that doesn't seem to be so cold anymore.
As her relationship grows with new best friend Carter, so does a taboo relationship with the new student-teacher Silas Heath. Danger is on the horizon and Emma must learn to trust Silas with her life and Carter with her secrets.
It's up to Emma to save the lives of possibly thousands...but how can she, when everything is so...Deathly Private?
