What happens at Night

After a tragic first year at college, Daisy returns for her sophomore year with plans to do everything right this semester: keeping her circle small, swearing off boys, focusing on school, and forgetting about her past. This plan quickly falls through when she decides to attend a party, where she meets Malachai.

Malachai Garner is a 6'7 basketball player and English major. Everybody knows him, but nobody can get close to him. He doesn't date, or even really hang out with anyone. He is introverted and unapproachable, with dark brown hair and deep green eyes--he's exactly Daisy's type.

After a horrible first impression, Daisy and Malachai hope to never see each other again, though neither of them can deny their attraction for the other.
