The angels walk among us.

Years ago, the seven Archangels descended onto Earth for the exile of the Acolytes, Lucifer's demonic creatures he released on to humankind. Using their powers, they captured the Infernal and put them in a spiritual hold in Purgatory beneath the Earth. Michael and Gabrielle, two archangels, agreed to the release of their wings and to stay behind on Earth to ensure such hold. Their spiritual powers and souls were bound to two human bodies. These are the Apostles.

The time has come where the spiritual hold has weakened due to the increase of Human's sin. Ella lives a quiet and sheltered life in Aldcrest, one of the last standing Mortal cities. Ella suffers from a debilitating sickness which causes her to have reoccurring nightmares and leaving her in an immense amount of pain. When tragedy strikes, Ella opens her eyes to how naive her view of the world truly is. Ella begins her search for answers. Answers that will push her into a dark, demonic world. A world that she once called Home.
