Olive Coombes, a young woman, eagerly anticipates the arrival of the King and Queen of England in her hometown on their 1939 tour of Canada. Knowing the crowds would be too much for Freddie, her four-year-old special needs son, Olive had engaged a babysitter. The babysitter fell ill on the day and could not watch Freddie. Olive has to struggle with her dream of seeing the King and Queen and what is best for her child. It is a story of love and discovering what is truly important.
