One woman out to live the life she never thought she'd have happens upon two new additions to the Avengers. First up there's Loki god of Mischief who has quickly become a loyal customer at her bookstore. The second is Bucky Barnes who she meets around the time of a devastating loss at the dive bar she's just inherited. Not wanting to treat them as anything other than the people they are, Maven Cordero keeps their friendships a closely guarded secret. Not intentionally of course. She just knows how much both men prefer their privacy. Besides, how likely is it that their paths will ever cross when she's with one or the other? And is it really that horrible of her to want to keep them to herself for as long as she can?
