Mia Wright is a Dreamer. She often dreams of a life much bigger than the one she has. And with an imagination that big, it has a peculiar way of getting her in trouble.

When her mother moves them to (possibly) the smallest town in the state of Georgia, Mia's world is shifted upside down. Sylvania, GA is the kind of place where dreams go to die. Nothing good ever happens in a place like that. Not even her whimsical imagination could whisk her away.

But something changes when she eats the pecans from the old tree in their backyard. These strange visions become more real than Mia could've ever imagined. There's something weird about Sylvania, GA. Something Mia could never dream about.

For as long as Rae can remember, her dreams have been her only escape from the loneliness of reality. By day, she runs Rae's Coffee Café, a successful shop in her small Georgia town. By night, she finds herself in the arms of Romeo-a man too perfect to be real. A man who only exists in her dreams. But when a stranger walks into her café-tall, breathtakingly familiar, with eyes that make the world stop-Rae's reality begins to crack. The dreams that once felt like an escape start bleeding into her waking life, bringing with them an unsettling pain in the back of her head and a growing sense that something isn't right. Who is this man? And why does she feel like she's known him forever? As Rae searches for answers, she finds herself trapped between two worlds-one she's always known and one that feels like it's been waiting for her all along. But dreams can be deceiving. And some nightmares don't stay asleep.
