This fantasy teen adventure book is about a pair of siblings, Kaian and his younger sister Nyrinn. They were both royal till they escaped...from Nyrinn's twin and their father. They now must travel to help save Khalid from their heritage.
Kaian will meet many allies and enemies, they must get a small piece of each nations crystals to make a weapon and find his elder sister..can they get the attention of the four gods of Khalid to help? This adventure packed story of magic and creatures with royals and trust...with their friends through Khalid..and betrayals. The nation built on clouds, one in the ocean, and one lost.
The twin will get her own book.

TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.Complete
