The Winds of Change

Darrah, a 16 year old, afro latina, has an...interesting story. She's spent her entire life living with her mom, Rio, in a 2 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, New York. While her father, Dion Jackson, the wealthy ceo of the multi million fashion company "Sapphire", lives in a mansion with a view of the Hudson river. Darrah's step-mom, Kehlani the head designer for "Sapphire", and her spoiled half siblings, Oasis and Kamien, live with her dad. Darrah never wanted to be apart of that world, until one day she is swept up from her home and dropped into a whole new universe. Will Darrah be able to keep up with her new life, will she be able to stay true to who she is, or will she be swept away in the winds of change?
