Like all the other humans the Sorcerer Rulers have brought past the veil, Velia has spent all her life in High Hill. She has dedicated all her time learning the ways of her new world, waiting for her Queen to call upon her and serve her purpose, but nothing is like she had imagined when the moment comes.

The bonds with her childhood friends are tested as new bonds are made, and all the lessons of her childhood are worthless when her own survival is at stake.
