This book is about a girl named Avery Ferret, a 15 year old Freshmen that lives with her 2 siblings named Skyler and Andy. Skyler is Avery's oldest stepsister and Andy is Avery's oldest half-brother. Andy is 20 and Skyler is 21. Avery's mom is never home because she works all the time and so does her step-father, Jerald. Avery is on the path to become a honor student when she starts developing a crush on one of her friends that changes everything.
