A reimagining of Kylo Ren's and Rey's joint scenes from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, based upon a love for the original movie, coupled with a desire to change it up a bit. It started off as a direct screen-to-page, line-for-line retelling of the movie, but over the years it's evolved, and now every scene has been at least slightly touched by the hand of revision...
This is by no means a complete retelling- it's just excerpts- so there's definitely plenty that's missing from this story, and some things might not line up or be fully resolved. If you're chill with that, read on.

The public wishes for surviving former leaders within The First Order be brought to justice, but this is proving to be more complicated than it seems. Meanwhile, Rey and the gang are adjusting to life post First Order. Rey has new revelations about The Force and what it takes to really restore balance. Balance is not restored and if she doesn't figure out how to bring Ben Solo back, evil could very well arise all over again, endangering old and new friends, and putting a future generation at risk. 《COMPLETE》The TROS ending we never got! The sparse remnants of the Resistance that fled from Crait slowly rebuild, hiding away from the First Order. Rey, accompanied by Poe and Finn, float from system to system attempting to stealthily recruit new rebels to their force aboard the Millenium Falcon. Kylo Ren has been sworn in as the Supreme Leader of the First Order, under the doubtful watch of General Hux, and assigns the Knights of Ren to acquire Rey. The Force continues to open the bond between him and Rey... linking them at their loneliest hours. Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Star Wars: Duel of the Fates
This is my version of the third chapter of the new Star Wars trilogy. I will not change anything that happened in either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. I will uphold the restrictions that resulted from the sad death of Carrie Fisher and will only draw from the deleted scenes or audio from pre-existing Star Wars movies and properties. Whilst I appreciated what Last Jedi was trying to do, I did not actually like it. However, I have no intention of undoing any of the main plot points or revelations that were in it. E.g. Rey will certainly not be a Palpatine. The story will not contain any Reylo. I know, I know: I love it too, but it was really weird seeing it as canon in the Rise of Skywalker. Do not expect it here. I am a big Star Wars fan and will be adding things from as wide a field as possible. All planets will be based on actual places mentioned or visited in the various movies and tv shows.
