After the Giant War, Percy Jackson finds himself restless, aimless, and haunted by the lingering chaos of his past adventures. The gods, sensing both his frustration and potential, "loan" him to another world-Earth as seen through the Marvel Universe-where heroes are in dire need of new champions. Percy's arrival is anything but subtle: he literally crashes into Tony Stark's latest tech expo through a sudden interdimensional rift. As Percy navigates this strange new world, he is slowly drawn into the lives of Earth's superheroes. He bonds with the Avengers, proving himself in both heroics and wit, but it isn't until he lifts Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir, that his presence truly shakes the foundations of Asgard. Loki, ever mischievous and unexpectedly perceptive, recognizes a soulmate bond with Percy-an invisible thread that makes Percy "part of Asgard" whether he wants it or not.
