Masuyo Nui wasn't anything special, and neither was her magic; she wasn't like her friends. She didn't have high levels of mana and natural talent like Yuno, and she didn't have Asta's physical prowess or unwavering ability to push forward and never give up. She was just Masuyo, daughter of a weaver, resident of the small town of Hage, and possessor of flimsy patchwork magic. She never thought herself to amount to anything...until Asta and Yuno forced her to join them on their journey to the magic knight exams, an event she had no intent on partaking in.
