Black Star: Odyssey Beyond Infinity
I... was an enemy of humanity, and somehow, humanity is the enemy of mine. --- Or rather, they thrust me into the whirlwind of accountability for a mistake, a disaster, that pushed us beyond the borders of Earth to "save the human race" yet again, as we had probably stained the great humans' great intentions, and great reputation. As I soared into the exhilarating vastness of space, embraced by dazzling stars and swirling galaxies, I had uncovered a haunting truth - one that reshaped everything I thought I knew, unfolding the mysteries of the universe and my very existence. It was the 23rd century, the world was supposed to reflect a Golden Age, but nothing could be perfect... --- Highest rankings: 3rd in Betray
Atlantis Academy: The First Element
Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?Complete
Missing Astronauts
You thought you knew your friend more? But actually they are the opposite in another world or maybe I mean another solar system. Hi, I'm Alicia, Alicia Ashlee Busch here. Who thought the same, because of what's happening with my life. Even though I did not know my true identity in another world, so I must search and know about it. It's kinda hard to adjust between different versions of you, but you'll get used to it. Actually when I'm in Australia with my parents it feels like home, and just waiting for my step brother to come home. Also I think about the delivery boy and found out he was a skater, so I thought if I go try skate with him, but I need to wait for my step brother, Charles, to come home. In the end I did go outside and from that I met the Delivery boy I mean skater boy, with his friends. I'll tell you it was a bad idea that we go hangout to a restaurant instead of just heading back to eachother's home. From that we maybe made a mistake of entering a spaceship. Later on this question is still stuck in my head, back from Australia when my dad had a call. That is, who are this Missing Astronauts? And... what is their greatest discovery? After that I didn't know my dad would say it would be their downfall. Maysie's Galaxy ONC 2023
38 A seemingly bottomless pit was found, for which the depth can't be determined. Over time, scores of people began using it to illegally dump trash. Many have jumped believing that they'll find life's answers within it. Today, we learn the truth about the hole. ~~~ Susan "Maysie" May Hornsby was a toddler when the sinkhole opened on the edge of the Missouri River, in the Tristate area (and six towns of Sioux City). It drastically changed her nation (drying up the Mississippi, slowing interstate trade to a standstill, making drinkable water a concern, forcing the nation to reroute a whole major waterway-not to mention the dumping and jumpers) but the child herself couldn't understand any of that. This made her nightmares all the more remarkable-though no one would know it, at the time. When the world ended, she was left with "the bad man" Alder Nahimana as her sole guardian. She was raised in the void of space as "the only people left alive". But there were more humans out there-and once her guardian passed, she sets out to find them, accidentally becoming crucial to the preservation of her mankind along the way. Not bad for a child whose world ended when she was 5.Complete

The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.Complete
