The Silent Princess - A Breath Of The Wild Fanfiction
Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. This is basically a beta of my newest work, the Seventh Knight Awakens, so you can read that on my Ao3 if you want better quality, storytelling, and less grammatical errors. Last time, the Hero lost. The Hylian Champion, chosen to destroy evil, slain, and a kingdom fallen in darkness' wake. Not two decades later, a young man with strange origins finds his path uncertain, as he learns he is a reincarnation of that same hero. Now, he must be the real hero among all those who have fallen. I Love You, Always Forever; A Medieval Zelink Story AU
Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. I'd say 12+? Cover art does not belong to me, I don't know who it belongs to. If it's yours and you want it taken down, let me know and I'll do that. During my extended break from writing, I've been playing a lot of Breath of the Wild. With Tears of the Kingdom just around the corner, I figured it was a good idea to share my knowledge about the canon lore- by writing a full story about it. "Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Tears of a Broken Kingdom ~ {After OoT/MM} now C O M P L E T E ~~ Ganondorf has been executed but trouble is beginning to brew in the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is left alone when Link suffers from the hand of fate and she has to stay strong for her country and her son. Din and Farore have turned against Hyrule, and when Zelda makes a shaky decision, it could spell the end for Hyrule. "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" >*< Disclaimer~~ This story contains torture, death, blood/gore, grieving/depression, symptoms of PTSD, mild self-harm, and mention of suicide. Please do not read if you don't want to see any of this. Thank you! Most of the story has mainly the grief and PTSD aspect. Check out Rin's Legendarium to listen :) Demon King's ultimate rise to power is an unceremonious and indiscernible one, his history steeped in legend and morbidity. While those with knowledge of his past have a vague interpretation, no one truly knows how Ganondorf came to be the King of Evil, Malice, and Gloom that Hyruleans recognize and fear today. Demise's curse, after all, leaves much to the imagination when it comes to how each affected hero or villain is chosen for the battles ahead. The enigma, Ganondorf, does have a backstory, however.
