After Aoi realizes Tanjiro dosen't love her and never will she falls into a state of despair. Her heart wailed fir months upon months for the boy yet her hearts screams were not heard. Tanjiro gained feelings for Kanao and that only shoved Aoi deeper into despair, the girl stopped putting her butterfly pins in her hair and all she was sob, her cries of love were never heard but everyone knew of her cries of sorrow. Especially the ones that loved her. Inosuke Hashibira, Tanjiro and Zenitsus best friend loved Aoi. It tore him apart to see Aoi in that state of despair, he slowly began to distance himself from everyone else but Aoi. He was no longer the loud and angry boy everyone knew. He was a cold man with a warm heart for a sorrowful woman. The stars in his dark sky.
