It's a little-known fact that wolf spirits roam the Earth. And when threatened, they can possess humans to protect themselves and their vessels from harm. But there are also dark forces at work who will stop at nothing to stop the wolf spirits from flourishing, hunters who exist only to eradicate wolf spirits and their hosts.

Ruby Sparrow has no clue that she's a potential target. She and her brother, David, are still reeling over the death of their parents, and the discovery that they were murdered.
