Aneko a young girl who tragically dies in a car accident is sent to district 79 the slumiest of districts. There Aneko learns how to survive  and navigate this new world. She lives with a group of Orphans like herself, and will stop at nothing to keep them safe. Her life is suddenly turned upside down when Soul Reaper wonders why she of all people is there. Stealing her away from the only life she knows, she is thrown into the world of Soul Reapers and nobility. There she meets a boy who changes her world forever.
