Going into the new school year after a hectic summer of Sirius escaping the Black house and going to live with the Potters, as well as his disownment by his parents has now left Regulus Black as the new heir to the Noble House of Black. While hoping to simply go through this year as normal Regulus finds it extremely difficult as his brother is seeking to mend their relationship, and his dimwitted friend keeps pestering after him.
