- This is a fictional Dreamtale AU, anything that happens is not canon to the original besides some backstory. It's recommended to know the lore of Dreamtale first before reading this.
Dream Joku hasn't seen or heard anything about his brother Nightmare in the last 50 years. His whereabouts were unknown, his allies were non-existent, and to put it short, nobody knew if he was even alive. But something strange has been going on.. On Dream's 582nd birthday, several hundred AUs started declining in positivity and immediately disappearing. With the AUs now stirred with fear and negativity, rumors spread of Nightmare's return.. but something was wrong with these rumors. Nightmare was described to be the size of a building, looming over all with an insane expression and evil in his heart. Dream, disregarding the rumors, sets out to go find his brother and make things right.. maybe even find a cure for his corruption. But until that happened, Dream had to be on his guard.
SUMMARY: It's been almost 75 years since Dream Joku, the Guardian of Positivity, has been freed from his stone prison. Able to breathe freely at last, he spent the next 25 years tirelessly battling his own brother, Nightmare Joku, the fallen Guardian of Negativity, who aims to destroy all feelings of happiness in the world; his very own brother. But after Nightmare was vitally struck, he suddenly disappeared and was not seen again for the next 50 years.
- Note: This AU is a spinoff of the original Dreamtale AU as well as their respected characters. I give full credit to the characters and backstory to their creators.
- The idea for this AU was inspired off of a mashup of creatures the size of a mountain, as well as several old folklore stories. (Concept idea came out in: ~ 04/??/2023)

Redefining Expectations-Insomnia Sequel
This sequel to my Insomnia story, please read the first if you haven't already: Expectations and a Golden Stitch. The battle is over for now...has been for a bit now. Expectations and a Golden Stitch-A DreamError/Insomnia Fanfic
Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?Complete

For some reason, Ink, the Creator and Protector of the Sans AUs, has decided that some of the Sanses of the Multiverse should go to highschool again. Honestly, no one really liked the idea, especially the Bad Sanses, including Ink's enemy, Error. Prince Nightmare is one of the AUs that must repeat these years of treachery. He basically only finished his actual highschool, and is NOT looking forward to having to do it again. Luckily his brother, Prince Dream, will be coming along the journey beside him. But Nightmare and Dream Are polar opposites, so Nightmare can't really get along with his brother's friends, nor Dream get along with Nightmare's, if he had any. With rules to follow and secrets to keep, Nightmare must go through highschool and not let slip the terrible things that happen at home. But then suddenly the two princes disappear. There's no trace as to who might've taken them, either. The only one that doesn't seem concerned is their own father, the king. King Sun-Beam. What is he hiding underneath all of those jewels and fake smiles? A/N: There is lemon/smut. So all you innocent people out there-- don't worry! (REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's.
