Frisk and the Monsters have made it to the surface. The Soul Guardians are humans with soul types that have magic infused into them. Most humans in this world don't have a "soul type", like Perseverance, Integrity, Patience, Kindness, Justice, Bravery, or Determination, only a select few do. The Soul Guardians have the "soul types" Integrity/Patience, Perseverance/Bravery, and Kindness/Justice. You(the reader) are an observer. Frisk and the Soul Guardians can sense your presence.

However, years went by and his soul was left in the underground along with the other six after Frisk had broke the barrier but this changed when gaster had finally been freed from his hell
