When an unfamiliar colt is dropped into Ponyville, he must find his place without knowing who he is or where he came from. He struggles with self identity and flashbacks that don't make sense to him.
He is taken in by the Mane 6 and is entirely grateful to them for helping him, but he can't help but feel like he's a burden.
Will he be able to find out who he is and make his choice on who he wants to be?

Her third and final dream was to have a family that wouldn't judge her for her flaws but her peers told her that it would never happen because she was too flawed for anyone to not judge her. the filly's heart broke more and more each day she was told her dreams won't come true until one day she ran away from the place she once called home to try to escape her pain after loosing her only friend Zipp Storm. the filly then found others that were without families like her and she lead them to create their own home but her pain stayed as she grew, she became cold and untrusting towards thoses around her. It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for.
