Advancements, achievements, having a strong ability and being able to use it efficiently stood as the major symbol of class, with abilities tying into traits like intelligence with research to back it. Thus, the graduates of the DECK initiative were gathered and each were put through tests designed to help them ascend into the position. In this story, the characters are all rankers from the four high schools and are attempting to qualify for DECK as they go through the qualification test for the program.
