Dr. Terzo had pure intentions in taking human existence beyond scopes we've ever seen, but the risk was beyond what he could imagine.
Amber was raised by robots who had no idea why her "code" caused her to grow and mature like a human would. Although the AI capabilities figured the chances of human life to be 2%, will she be able to continue her life and exert above to save the human race.
