Every family has its secrets, some more gruesome and unbelievable than others and that is soon understood by Cinderella as she prepares to bond with her father's fiancée and her twin daughters. Cinderella Sanchez is a teenage beauty with a sharp tongue and fiery attitude, a sharp contrast to her older sister Alison, although fluent in sarcasm, her sarcastic and witty comments may be a cry for help, a sign that she had never fully mourned the untimely death of her mother as bouts of anger and sadness flare up sporadically. In an attempt to move on, a blossoming romance ensues between her father and a single mother by the name of Estella, soon the two families unite. In the midst of unity, mysteries unfold and lives are put in danger in this twisting tale.
