I was running. 
Really fast. 
I don't know what happened. 
All of a sudden I was looking in the mirror and I saw her face, staring back at me as if it was my own. I think I screamed- honestly I couldn't remember anything after that. I think she reached out for me. 
The everything went black. 
It was all a blur after that. 

Jade and her friends go exploring to an abandoned house down the street where they make some remarkable discoveries. Even when her parents find out about it, she continues going there on her own. One day she finds something that can change her life forever. 
But she will also discover that someone is waiting for her on the other side....All Rights Reserved

"You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp." Diana joked, she wasn't serious; it was just to get me with them and of course she knew that it would work. "It's fine if you don't want to Luna." Lucas said, at least he was cool about it. "I-I'm not a wimp!" I stumbled on my words. "Yey!" Diana said happily and rushed toward me with her arms open. "I'll buy you McDonalds after this." I hugged her, even though I wasn't happy. I looked at the time. 12.20am

I am currently rewriting this, but feel free to give this draft a read :D Shadow's world is turned upside down when she found out her grandmother died. Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born. But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her. Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa. Shadow and Alex find they are apart of an old legend of Abesa and that they were destined to come there and save it from swirling into the darkness. Nothing will ever be the same.
