Mia Verstappen went through a lot during her childhood, but the challenges she faced didn't come remotely close to her future. When Mia was kidnapped after work, Max went ballistic. He was relentless in his search for her, stopping at nothing to find his twin sister. When he found her, however, she was different, a shell of the bubbly person she once was.
Through the entire process, Max's best friend Daniel was by his side. Aiding in the search for Mia and eventually helping him try to return her back to her natural self. The only issue? He was catching feelings for the girl.
The problem? She was Max's baby sister, totally off limits to anyone on the grid.
