After creative differences led to Lindsey's departure from Fleetwood Mac in 1987, the Buckingham family - which has expanded with the birth of their daughter Sara in 1988 - has been laying low. Stevie's solo career has been thriving, and they have been raising two teenagers and a very rambunctious and creative and different little girl, Lindsey at home in his studio happily being a stay-at-home dad and making his own music. But when MTV approaches the band for a televised reunion concert and a subsequent tour unfolds, Stevie and Lindsey must navigate not just a resurgence of their careers in middle age but the perils of parenthood - as well as a late-in-life visit from the stork - and somehow keep alive the spark, the love, the undying passion that makes them Buckingham Nicks.

It's 2007. Stevie and Lindsey are trying to co-parent and things are going well until their only child let's something slip and Lindsey comes to a realization.

Stephanie, Stevie to friends, is a single woman, working as a housekeeper for the Buckingham family. Lindsey, Mr. Buckingham, a family man, becomes fond of a woman, who isn't his wife.

Lindsey becomes a father, but his family life is not what he had always pictured it to be.

The Dance tour - an interesting time for everyone involved. Stevie and Lindsey have grown closer together, a lot closer. Unfortunately, the tour is nearing the end and the unknow scares the two of them greatly.

The story begins in 1993. Stevie's life is spiraling out of control and just like always there's only one person, who's able to help her.
