Does it ? When does it end ? Trying to fill this void with this spiritual being who can never provide me comfort. Because he steers me wrong and I've always known right but when he put on my blinders and whispers sweet nothings into my ear I know that he's said nothing but it sounds so sweet I can't hear the real angles and I can't here myself think. But when the clouds of his illusions have cleared and I'm left alone to clean the mess we made I am tired of cleaning by myself when two laid in this bed. How do I pull myself out of this hole I willingly went in ? How do I climb from a hole I helped dig ? How can I no longer be a prisoner when the shackled and guards were all hired by me and at any point I could have raised my white flag but I didn't ?

I am at war with myself and it's because I make deals with the devil. And I have grown silent in prayers letting my imperfections live the life that seemed so glamorous and they always have a good time but when the dust settles I'm left unhappy in this shell I call my body. How do I stop dancing with the devil when his eyes sing songs that calm my soul? When he pulls around the dance floor his dominance takes charge of me and I can't deny it. When the mist is thick and suffocating and clouds my best judgment? Because I am sick of waking up the next morning with my head pounding and my pillow holding the new sins I've committed because I love him and he says he loves me but never stays to show me.
