Mata Nui, once the Great Spirit to the GSR, betrayed and backstabbed by his brother the Makuta, exciled and casted out of his own body with his spirit trapped inside the Ignika aka the Mask of Life as his people were enslaved
He is now reformed in his old body before the titan robot on Bara Magna, the now barren desert wasteland planet the Great Beings abandoned centuries ago when The War of The Core reached it's peek
As Mata Nui tries to find his way back to his people, he must help this planet's people with a traitor amongst the barley standing villages who managed to unite two once rival villages into an army
But with the first time in centuries feeling what emotions are with the once greatest Glatorian of Bara Magna
Is anything able to hold up?
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
