I have made this way more gruesome than it could've been. Just saying, anyways. An octoling who has escaped the octarians the night before an "exciting" event meets the one and only Captain 3. Not long later, the octoling has lost the comfort with 3 and disappears.

(The Hyper Nova will be edited shortly after this releases)

I do not own Splatoon (obv) 

I'm writing this and another book at the same time, so look forward for that. It may have something to do with that odd Story 7 in Mako&Novas Stories that just appeared without any context.

(Spoilers) I'm rewriting this because i don't rlly like it before and im changing it too. Especially the whole sanitization thing.

I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XD

Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters. It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.
