I had never felt this way before, I had never felt the immediate butterflies swarm my stomach as soon as I saw them, but this was different. After George accidentally outs himself in front of the popular and homophobic guys of the school everything seems fine at first. However, that soon changes when he receives weird and hurtful messages online, this soon escalates from just one message to something much more serious. Meanwhile, Clay is closeted yet he has known he likes boys for a while now after falling for George. However, he can never seem to find the time to talk to anyone about this as he has to constantly help his sick mum and sister. With the cyber bullying all becoming too much, George becomes extremely overwhelmed, while Clay finds himself taking more and more medication to calm himself every day. This soon escalated from a small issue into something unimaginably worse. Out Of Control
George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.Concluida
I'll Never Forget
George and Clay had known each other since they were incredibly young. Their friendship was indescribable, it was like they were tied together and would always find each other again. And that was true except now they were only like that by two small bracelets, one blue and one green. Clay's timetable had gotten more and more busy and he had less time for George eventually resulting to a null. A friendship that was once inseparable was now long gone, just memories of better times as Clay's life became hell. The days became repetitive, school, train, sleep. Every day was the same as the one before and the one after. Only George had to find a way to fix this, as he made a promise he would never forget.
