Red's grandmother, the Matriarch of the Hoods, has been brutally murdered by a werewolf at her hideout. The main suspect is Silver, the black sheep of the Ironfang Clan. However, Red knows he's not the murderer because... well, Silver and Red were fucking while it happened.

Sex between a Hood and a werewolf is taboo so they're forced to keep it a secret. That's why, even if they are supposed to be enemies, Silver and Red join forces to discover who's her grandmother's killer.

Silver wants to clear his name and figure out who's trying to incriminate him; Red needs to find out who murdered her dear grandma and what was that "important thing" that she needed to tell Red before she died.
