England during 17th-century bubonic plague epidemic. Young herbalist Rosalynn Seward lives her peaceful life in a small cottage on the skirts of Eyam. Her life changes drastically when a plague doctor appears in the village looking for an apprentice who would help him stop the spread of the disease. 

Together, Rosalynn and the Doctor are roaming through England in search for an antidote while dealing with their own past and social prejeudices their will encounter through their journey. This light historical cottagecore love story combines some intersting facts about the plague doctors with some herbal recipies mixed with humor, mystery, and adventure. It may be also found as a comfort story ;)
