Yes other kinds of magic exist, however it is only through taming monsters can one be considered strong. However René is different from ordinary bird monsters. René can use magic, which in that world is something only S-class monsters are able to do, such as Dragons. When the knowledge of her unique abilities falls into the wrong hands, René must learn to become strong enough to protect herself and the master she chose to contract with.
