Hope Mikaelson was scarred for life after seeing her father as the monster everyone said he was. The memory was burned in her mind and she longed for an explanation from her father. Her actions to that effect had gotten her expelled from the Salvatore School.
She couldn't believe it when she got her letter from Hogwarts. She took it as her chance to be the greatest witch the world has ever seen. But more importantly, she wanted to break the curse that plagued her family.
