Ruby had been burned. Badly. Getting back out there was more difficult than she would like to admit. Always pretending to be fine. The walls around her fragile heart were meters high. And yet she wanted to have her one person. Not that she would ever admit it. She rather stop dating all together. Stop going after her dreams. She even moved to a different town. Her new bff however is hell-bent on finding the perfect person for her.
Eden wanted to escape to a place where nobody would recognise her and just work in peace. After finishing weeks of fashion weeks and emergencies, she wanted some quiet time to work on new collections. She had no time for friends or dating. This small town looked like the perfect place for no distractions. If she would just stop running into this woman.
Could Ruby forget the way Eden looked at her that one unfortunate afternoon? Or would she always see the blush and lust whenever she locked eyes with Eden? Could Eden forget how ravenous Ruby looked that day? Was she setting up for heartbreak, knowing that Ruby wanted no relationship at all?

And she ends up getting her wish but the next time they see each other it's in one of the most unexpected of situations. Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex.
