Twenty-year-old Barrett Ndura has been looking forward to  this moment her whole life, to join the Riders Quadrant and become a dragon rider. But when you're a bit bigger than most others and have anxiety ...the odds don't look to be entirely in your favor. Dragons don't choose weaklings. 

The war outside the protective wards is raging on, and fewer dragons are willing to bond with cadets, which means Barrett is going to have to fight her damned hardest to prove herself worthy. Not only to her peers, but to the dragons. 

With her dearest friend by her side, and (rather unfortunately) her former love, she intends to prove to everyone that she's just as good as the rest of them.

Second Wing is a fanfiction based on the popular Romance-Fantasy book "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros. It takes place during the events of that book, but follows my own characters and their time in the Riders Quadrant. Any mention of Xaden, Violet, or any of Rebecca's own characters will be in passing or in reference to events that happened within the canon story.All Rights Reserved
