Evangeline Garcia was a victim of the murders in Woodsboro where she lost half of her friend group that included the core four. (Five since Evangeline is in it) Which made the group more closer. Amber was Evangeline's old best friend before she backstabbed her. Evangeline was completely heartbroken at her best friend's betrayal, sadly she was the one to end her.
They made their way into New York thinking they'd move on from all the horror that happened in Woodsboro. Instead they were met with revenge from the past.
