THE HAUNTED DOLL

Description:

Once there was a little girl named Emily who loved playing with dolls. She owned many dolls but her favourite one was a creepy-looking antique doll that she had received from her grandmother. Emily loved talking to her doll and she always believed that her doll talked back to her.

One night, Emily woke up to find her doll missing from her bedroom. She searched for her everywhere but could not find her. Suddenly, she heard a strange sound coming from her closet. Trembling with fear, Emily opened the closet and found her doll sitting on a shelf, staring at her with its lifeless eyes.

Emily went back to bed but she could not sleep. She heard strange noises coming from her closet and she felt like there was someone watching her. Every night, Emily would wake up to find her doll in a different place, sometimes sitting on her bed or beside her pillow.

One day, Emily's parents went out of town and she was left home alone. As soon as the night fell, Emily heard loud footsteps coming from upstairs. She went to investigate, armed with a flashlight. As she reached the top of the stairs, she saw her doll sitting on the floor with its back towards her. Emily slowly approached the doll, shining her flashlight on it. Suddenly, the doll turned around and its eyes glowed red. Emily screamed and ran towards the front door but it was locked from the outside. She was trapped with the haunted doll.

The doll started moving towards her, its arms outstretched. Emily closed her eyes and prayed for it to go away. When she opened her eyes, she saw her parents standing in front of her. They had come back early from their trip and had found Emily in a state of shock. As they checked on her, Emily saw her doll sitting on the floor, grinning at her menacingly. From that day, Emily refused to play with dolls again, haunted by the memory of the evil doll that almost killed her.
